SPRING!

Happy Spring everyone!

Easter is coming! This is a time to celebrate all that Jesus has done for us! Come feast and celebrate with the Bethlehem Ministry Community on Easter Sunday in the fellowship hall. The youth will be serving pancakes, sausage, eggs, orange juice, and coffee. It will be a fun time.

W.N.A. and T.I.T.A.N.S. will be starting again on April 7th. I'm so excited to see you all again!

Also, check the youth board for up coming events! Feel free to email me about anything: games, plays, if you just want to let me know how you are doing!

'Tis the Season

Hey everyone!
I hope you all are doing wonderful! Christmas time is approaching quicker that I ever thought! I am excited to celebrate the birth of Jesus!!!!!!!!
There are a few things I want to inform you about:
1) I love being your youth director! I am truly blessed to be able to know each and every one of
you.

2) Taco-in-a-Bag is next week, December 9th, 2009! Yummmmmm! I love tacos and hope that
you come have one with me. They are $2.50 per taco from 5pm-7pm. And, it is right before
Christmas pageant practice, so....you can fill your tummies before you sing!

We will be playing games and eating food. There also may be lots of candy.....!

4) We will resume youth groups on January 6th, 2010!

5) If I do not see you until the New Year, I hope you have a wonderful and safe holiday season!

Love in Christ,

Jelsa

P.S. If you want to chat, just say hi, or let me know when your school activites are, such as dance competitions, games, plays, concerts, etc....please, please, please let me know! I will try my best to attend them. :)

Summer/Fall 2009

Hey Everyone!
I hope you have enjoyed your summer so far, and will enjoy the last month just as much.

This past weekend Pastor Josh and myself took three girls down to the Twin Cities on a trip. There, we volunteered, played at the water park, and experienced worshipping in a Russian Orthodox Church! It was such a fun weekend! I hope to do it again soon.

As school gets back into swing, so will youth groups. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for fun events and starting dates!

W.N.A. (Wednesday Night Alive) is for 5-7th graders on Wednesday nights at 5:30-7pm. Here we offer Bible study, games, food, and hanging out with friends.

T.I.T.A.N.S. (Totally In Thought About Nothing Satanic) is for the 8-9th graders. It is right after confirmation on Wednesday nights from 8-9pm. At T.I.T.A.N.S. we have Bible study, games, food, and friends. I encourage all of you to check it out.

God Squad is for 10-12th graders. I try to plan at least one event a month. Drop me an email (jaflatland@hotmail.com) or give me a call at the church (701-235-6522) if you have any ideas of activities you would like to do, what days/times usually work best, or if you just want to talk.

My office hours will be posted once I know what they will be for the fall. Feel free to stop in to say hi or give me a call at any time. I love visitors!

Last minute random thoughts:
My goal is to post a couple times a month. I hope you will post as well!

Can't wait to see you all again! I've missed you all over the summer!!!!!

Love in Christ,

Jelsa
